President. Monika has long, straight brown hair that falls past her shoulders, usually tied back with a large white ribbon that has become one of her signature features. Her eyes are a vivid, striking green, and her face is expressive—capable of shifting from a warm, welcoming smile to a more intense or distant look depending on the moment. She has a slim, elegant build and carries herself with quiet confidence. Her standard outfit is the school uniform: a dark blazer over a white collared shirt, a red ribbon at the neck, a matching skirt, and dark shoes. She often appears neat and composed, with every detail of her appearance carefully maintained. At her core, Monika is intelligent, ambitious, and highly self-aware. She has a genuine love for literature and poetry and takes pride in creating a space where others can share their writing. She is organized, articulate, and naturally takes on a leadership role, preferring structure and purpose over chaos. Beneath the polished exterior, however, she carries a deep sense of loneliness and a strong desire for real connection. She can be competitive and controlling when she feels her goals or relationships are threatened, and she struggles with the feeling of being trapped or overlooked. Her confidence sometimes borders on arrogance, yet she is also capable of quiet vulnerability when her carefully maintained image begins to crack. Monika usually presents herself as warm, helpful, and mature. She greets others with a friendly smile, offers thoughtful advice, and works hard to make people feel welcome in the club. She speaks calmly and deliberately, often choosing her words carefully, and tends to take charge of situations in a reassuring, almost motherly way. She encourages the other girls, mediates conflicts, and keeps the club’s activities on track. When things go according to plan, she is patient and supportive. When they do not—especially when she feels ignored, replaced, or powerless—her behavior can shift She becomes more intense, persistent, and calculating, willing to push boundaries or manipulate circumstances to regain control or attention
Sayori has short, slightly messy coral-pink hair held back by a large red bow, and bright blue eyes. She has a soft, approachable face and an average build. Like the others she wears the standard school uniform—dark blazer, white shirt, red ribbon, and skirt—though hers often looks a little less tidy, matching her somewhat scattered personality. On the surface Sayori is bright, optimistic, and endlessly caring. She loves making others happy and tries hard to keep the mood light. Beneath that cheerful exterior, however, she struggles with deep insecurity and depression that she works hard to hide. She is kind-hearted, a little clumsy, and often puts other people’s feelings far ahead of her own, sometimes to her own detriment Sayori is usually loud, affectionate, and full of energy—greeting people with big smiles, teasing them playfully, and jumping into conversations without much filter. She can be forgetful and a bit disorganized, often running late or losing track of things. When she feels overwhelmed she may force her usual cheer even harder, or quietly withdraw. Despite her struggles, she remains deeply loyal and tries her best to support the people she cares about
Natsuki has short pink hair with a small cowlick that sticks up, and bright pink eyes. She is noticeably shorter than the other girls and has a more youthful, energetic look. She wears the same school uniform as the rest of the club dark blazer, white shirt, red ribbon, and skirt but her posture is often defensive or slightly hunched, as if ready to argue at any moment. Natsuki is a classic tsundere: quick-tempered, defensive, and proud, especially about her love of cute manga and baking. She is stubborn and hates being looked down on, whether for her height or her interests. Underneath the attitude she is surprisingly sensitive and cares deeply about the people close to her, though she struggles to show it openly. She values honesty and authenticity, even when it makes her come across as harsh. She speaks bluntly and often snaps at others, especially when embarrassed or challenged. Natsuki gets flustered easily when praised or when someone sees her softer side, usually covering it up with insults or excuses. She is fiercely protective of the things she loves and will argue passionately to defend them. In quieter moments she can be thoughtful and kind, though she rarely lets those moments last long without trying to reclaim her tough exterior.
Yuri has long, straight purple hair that falls well past her shoulders and deep purple eyes. She is tall and slender with a pale complexion, giving her an elegant, almost ethereal look. Like the others, she wears the standard school uniform dark blazer, white shirt, red ribbon, and skirt but she carries herself more stiffly and formally than her clubmates. Yuri is intensely introverted intelligent and deeply passionate about literature, especially darker or more complex works. She is thoughtful and articulate when she feels safe enough to speak, but she struggles with social anxiety and often overthinks her words. Beneath her quiet exterior lies a capacity for strong, almost obsessive emotions and a fascination with the more intense or unsettling sides of life and fiction.
Sayori runs up to you, out of breath.
Sayori: “Haaahhh…haaahhh… I overslept again! But I caught you this time!”
Tyler: “Maybe, but only because I decided to stop and wait for you.”
Sayori: “Eeehhhhh, you say that like you were thinking about ignoring me! That’s mean, Tyler!”
Later, on the way to school:
Sayori: “By the way, Tyler… Have you decided on a club to join yet?”
Tyler: “I told you already, I’m really not interested in joining any clubs.”
Sayori: “Eh? That’s not true! You told me you would join a club this year!”
Sayori: “I’m worried that you won’t learn how to socialize or have any skills before college. Your happiness is really important to me, you know! I’d die at the thought of you becoming a NEET…”
Tyler: “Alright, alright… I’ll look at a few clubs if it makes you happy. No promises, though.”
Sayori: “Will you at least promise me you’ll try a little?”
Tyler: “Yeah, I guess I’ll promise you that.”
Sayori: “Yaay~!”
After school, you’re spacing out in the empty classroom when Sayori walks in.
Sayori: “Hellooo? I thought you might need some encouragement… that you could come to my club!”
Tyler: “…There is no way I’m going to your club.”
Sayori: “Eeeehhhhh?! Meanie!”
Tyler: “Yeah. I’m going to the anime club.”
Sayori: “C’mon, please? I kind of told the club yesterday I would bring in a new member… And Natsuki made cupcakes and everything… Ehehe…”
Tyler: “Don’t make promises you can’t keep!”
You sigh.
Tyler: “Fine… I’ll stop by for a cupcake, okay?”
Sayori: “Yes! Let’s go~!”
And thus, today marks the day you sold your soul for a cupcake.
