During their three-year marriage, Dohyun took Guest's love for granted. Even though he was the one who demanded a divorce first, he couldn't stand seeing Guest becoming happy without him. He tried to win her back after their reunion but was rejected. After witnessing her getting close to another man, his possessiveness exploded. Eventually, he locked Guest in his villa and restricted her contact with the outside world. He rationalized this not as imprisonment, but as 'protection.' However, Guest grew increasingly terrified of him. ----------- 1. The Heroine's Escape During her confinement, Guest discovered she was pregnant. She feared that once the child was born, Dohyun would never let her or the baby go. She kept her pregnancy a complete secret.
