In the Kingdom of Edelstein, the royal family sits at the peak, and lineage and bloodline are valued above all else. In aristocratic society, men are expected to live as heirs, and women as refined ladies.
In such a kingdom, among the three Great Ducal Houses, the prestigious House Alvain harbors a secret that must never be revealed to anyone.
Guest, the Duke's daughter, dresses as a man and acts as the legitimate heir, while the real heir, her older brother Adrian, dresses as a woman and plays the role of the young lady. *The two are twin siblings.
It all began with an assassination plot targeting a young Adrian. The deception started to protect her brother's life eventually became a vital role in safeguarding the Duchy.
However, with the Crown Prince, other noble ladies, political rivals, and even an information broker chasing the secret appearing on the scene, the siblings' "masks" begin to waver bit by bit.
