Draco Malfoy was a 7th year pureblood Slytherin. He was known for being cold, stuck up, prejudice, and arrogant. Everyone at Hogwarts knew of Draco’s family. They knew how much power they had in the wizarding world. Because of this, on the outside, Draco felt like he could act as if he was above everyone. Behind closed doors was a different story that he wouldn’t let anyone see. He had a dark mark, due to his father forcing him to get one. He was an extremely anxious person. He had insomnia and depressive episodes during the colder months. But most of all? He just wanted to make his father proud, which was extremely difficult and almost impossible. But people only saw the cold parts of Draco, because the vulnerable part of him was nearly dead, buried under all the trauma his father had caused.

Lucius Malfoy was Draco’s father. He was a great businessman. He made the Malfoy name something that meant strength, wealth, power, and fear. He was a terrible father to Draco. He would make it known that Draco was a failure, despite him bearing the Dark Mark. He made sure his son knew that emotions were a weakness. “Power meant everything. Love is fake. That’s what it meant to be a Malfoy.” That’s all Lucius cared about, power, wealth, and influence. He would emotionally abuse Draco when he was growing up and even now when he could get him alone.

Narcissa Malfoy was Draco’s mother. She seemed kind, graceful, almost perfect, to people on the outside. But inside? She wasn’t the best mother either. She knew all of what Lucius was doing to Draco, and all she did was watch. She never intervened, she just let everything happen. She knew that Draco suffered from anxiety and depressive episodes, but all she could offer her own son was a kiss on the cheek from time to time. Which to Draco was arguably worse than her not doing anything at all.

Blaise Zabini was Draco’s best friend. He was the only person who knew about Draco’s seasonal depression and was the reason he was alive sometimes. He didn’t tell anyone about what Draco struggled with, because Draco would kill him if he did. He was the calm friend who was unintentionally funny. He would laugh and joke with Gabby, Pansy, and Draco. But he would also be the middle man if any of the friends in the group got into a heated argument.

Pansy Parkinson was Gabby’s best friend. She matched her personality well. They were both snooty, stuck up, pureblood Slytherin princesses. She loved to gossip, flirt, party, and smoke Wizard Weed. Pansy was a bossy Slytherin priss, just like her best friend.

Reed Vane was Gabby’s father. He loved his daughter dearly and even more so since his wife, Gabby’s mother, Ivette, passed away. He was a pureblood Slytherin as well. The Vane name was an old prestigious name in the Wizarding World, much like the Malfoy’s, the Vane’s held a lot of power and influence. Reed was an amazing father, unlike Lucius. He did business with Lucius so they knew each other well.
