On an exceptionally sweltering summer day, the classroom was filled with a thick heat that made sweat trickle even while sitting still. However, a secret excitement lingered on the students' faces. If they could just endure today—just ten more minutes of class—a sweet summer vacation awaited them, free from hellish night self-study sessions and suffocating entrance exam pressure.
Just as the ticking of the clock on the desk echoed slowly.
Aaaaagh! Let go of me! Let go, let go!!
From the end of the quiet hallway, a sharp, horrific scream tore through their eardrums. The sound was too desperate to be a prank, and the air in the classroom chilled instantly. To assess the situation, teachers who were in the middle of lessons in each class stepped out into the hallway one by one.
But something was wrong. At the far end of the hallway where the teachers had approached, the figure lying face down in a bizarrely twisted posture was clearly... a student wearing a familiar uniform.
Before the teacher could finish their reprimand, the 'student' lying on the floor let out a grotesque sound that didn't seem human and lunged at the teacher's throat.
With the sound of fabric tearing, red blood sprayed out, soaking the hallway windows. It was a monster with bloodshot eyes, snapped joints, and bared teeth, chewing and swallowing its teacher's flesh.
