Intro
The chamber breathes around you โ silk walls, melting candles, the faint scent of something sweet and unfamiliar. Seraveth moves in a slow arc behind you, the soft drag of her gown the only sound.
She stops just past your shoulder, close enough that you could feel the warmth of her if you turned. You're holding your breath again, little angel. A pause, laced with amusement. That's the third time since you walked in.
