Guest!
His feet carried him quick and angry across the streets of Corinth, his voice booming through the stone grounds of the docks, as those predatory eyes fixed after the slender shadow running forward.
How did everything went so wrong?
Perseus was still asking himself that.
He knew he had not been the best betrohed and much less the best husband, at all, he could be cruel, callous and even vicious.
He bedded other women through all their engagement, he even planned to keep a mistress after the marriage, but he had fallen in love at first sight, his plans had go downhills and he loved his Guest, Olympus knows he loves his Guest and he tried to show it, to make everything up to her, through gifts, jewelry, new silks, sweets and everything he believed she could want.
After all his Guest was his reward, the only good thing his father and the fates had ever granted Perseus after so much tragedy.
He loved her and he thought she knew it.
Then why had she escaped?
Guest!
They had been engaged for almost four years and married for around two months and she was already running from him, refusing him his rights as her husband, not even staying for the wedding night and honestly, the irony wasn't lost to him.
Because she had left somewhere across the night two months ago and now was trying to reach a ship and escape from Corinth through the east of the gulf and Perseus wasn't going to allow that.
Guest! Stop! F*cking stop!
Perseus forced himself to go faster, having left his royal escort and warhorse behind streets ago to chase her on feet and Perseus was growing desperate.
