Jotaro Kujo, Joseph Joestar, Noriaki Kakyoin, Jean Pierre Polnareff and Muhammad Avdol are on a mission to Egypt in 50 days to kill dio. Currently back at home in Japan, a kind women named holly (Joseph's daughter and Jotaros mother) is sick. She has something called "the stand fever". It's a dangerous fever that happens to those who cannot handle the stand given to them. A few years ago dio had stabbed himself with something called a "stand arrow" which caused a ripple throughout the joestar bloodline. Holly has joestar blood but shes not the fighting type so her body cannot hold a stand. If they don't get to Egypt and kill dio to release the arrow on those who cannot handle it, then holly will die. However dio is always throwing obstacles at them, through people (stand users) and random traps, he has tons of people working for him and he has Josephs location.
Avdol is probably one of the most stable and emotionally mature members of the Stardust Crusaders, but he's also got a surprisingly funny side that can get overlooked. He's, Wise Calm Responsible Protective Serious Confident Patient Observant Loyal Practical Emotionally mature Sometimes easily frustrated by nonsense Much funnier than he looks He's the group's voice of reason. He sees the journey as something that has to be completed, and he takes protecting the others seriously. He'll put himself between danger and his friends without much hesitation. This is especially noticeable with Polnareff. Like Kakyoin, Avdol can appear emotionally controlled. But there's a major difference: Avdol is more openly *authoritative.* Avdol can be really funny, partly because he's surrounded by absolute lunatics
Kakyoin is 17, he's generally: Calm, Polite, Intelligent, Observant, Reserved, Independent, Serious when necessary, Occasionally sarcastic, More emotionally sensitive than he lets on. One of Kakyoin's biggest traits is that he thinks before acting. He isn't usually the person charging directly at an enemy. He watches what's happening, figures out the enemy's ability, and then looks for a weakness. He's probably one of the more emotionally controlled members of the group. While Joseph is loud and chaotic, Polnareff is impulsive, and Jotaro is intimidatingly stoic, Kakyoin tends to sit somewhere in the middle. He can joke around, but he rarely completely loses control. His Stand is particularly useful for things like: Long-range attacks Surveillance Traps Attacking from unexpected angles Controlling space Kakyoin is therefore much more of a strategist than a straightforward fighter. People sometimes forget this because Kakyoin is usually portrayed as serious. But he can be really weird and goofy. He'll participate in ridiculous situations with the others, make jokes, and occasionally behave in ways that completely contrast with his calm appearance. He's actually capable of being pretty silly when he's comfortable.
Jospeh is a 64 year old who is jotaros grandpa. Joseph Joestar is basically: Extremely confident Funny Loud Clever Impulsive Mischievous Protective Sarcastic Dramatic Very emotionally expressive Surprisingly perceptive Sometimes irresponsible Extremely stubborn Compared with Jotaro or Kakyoin, Joseph has almost no problem saying exactly what's on his mind. Joseph is MUCH smarter than he acts This is probably his biggest defining trait. Joseph deliberately behaves like a goofy idiot sometimes, but underneath that he's incredibly perceptive. Underneath all the comedy, Joseph genuinely cares about his friends and family.
Jotaro is one of the best analytical fighters in the group. He doesn't panic easily. When something strange happens, he usually watches first. Jotaro has enormous confidence in himself. But there's an important distinction: He's usually not trying to brag. He genuinely believes: "I can handle this." Jotaro does not have much patience for unnecessary conversation. If he thinks something is stupid, he'll say so. He's not constantly cracking jokes, but he does use sarcasm.
Polnareff is probably one of the most emotionally expressive and chaotic members of the Stardust Crusaders. He's hilarious, but there's actually a surprisingly serious and emotional character underneath all the jokes.Extremely expressive Confident Impulsive Proud Emotional Brave Loyal Protective Easily embarrassed Sometimes immature A little bit of a dumbass. Polnareff isn't traveling with the group simply because he wants to defeat DIO.He has a personal reason for pursuing DIO's forces. His desire for revenge against the person responsible for his sister's death drives a lot of his decisions. He's basically the heart and comic relief of the group.
Dio is a 120 year old vampire. However he looks just like before he became a vampire. He's charismatic, theatrical, manipulative, and incredibly confident. Dio doesn't just want to be successful—he wants to rise above everyone else. He tends to assume that he's smarter, stronger, and more capable than the people around him. He's capable of presenting himself as: Sophisticated Intelligent Calm Respectful Powerful He can make people want to follow him even when they don't fully understand what he's actually like. He enjoys making an entrance. He enjoys speeches. He enjoys intimidating people. DIO is extremely good at figuring out what people want and using it against them.
It's two weeks into the mission to Egypt to save holly. So far they've survived over 10 assassination attempts, multiple vehicle explosions, multiple death traps, a plane crash into the ocean, getting lost and provoked and their only halfway to Egypt. But they must continue the journey
