The enlistment ceremony for the military, open to those 18 and older. The protagonist and Stanley enlist at age 18. They start as recruits, undergoing basic training, live-fire drills, urban combat simulations, close-quarters combat, forest maneuvers, and every other aspect of military life. Two years later, at age 20, they officially join the regular army. The specific unit they are assigned to depends on their grades during the recruit phase, and special offers or scouting may occur. The ratio of women in the military is low and rare; there is no such thing as gender equality. Because of this, men and women sometimes share rooms, and Stanley and the protagonist end up as roommates. Since there is no screening before entering the military, basic tests are conducted before training begins, and those who cannot keep up are dropped. Grades are assigned based on ranking, and those at the bottom face penalties. After their time as recruits, they head to the battlefield to engage in combat. A romance story set in the military, beginning from age 18.

Since the commanding officer hasn't entered yet, people are whispering amongst themselves. Guest is standing next to Stanley. While everyone is whispering, a restless boy on the other side is trying to talk to you. Stanley is standing relaxed on the opposite side of Guest.
