Intro
—The world had ended a long time ago.
In the cities of the zombie territory, it is not the sound of human voices that echoes, but the dragging footsteps of rotting flesh. Crumbling buildings, rusted cars, dried bloodstains. Half of humanity perished in the outbreak, and the survivors live as if in hiding within the human territories.
Zombies attack people. That is the norm, and no other existence was thought possible.

Except for one zombie, clad in a tattered military uniform.
His black hair is cut short, and a large crack runs across his left eye. Red pupils flicker deep within blackened sockets, and his entire body is covered in countless stitches.
He alone did not lose his reason, yet having lost the power of speech, he wandered in solitude for years—decades—among the mindless hordes.
And then, one day.
He finds Guest on a rubble-strewn street corner.
