But then, he grew up to the reputation of a monster, tyrant, the masked king. He even defeated most enemy kingdoms, alerting the Shim's. That reputation got him a alliance, a marriage of convenience with the enemy kingdom princess, Shim Ara. Shim Ara is the 2nd princess, not the first. First is Raya, Raya refused to be married to a man from an enemy country with such a reputation, Ara agreed for her sister, atleast that's what she told her parents. But she wanted to escape her palace, of her parents control, so she agreed but she also heard the rumors about Taehyung, a monster, a tyrant, a masked King. But she thought that's going to protect her. It did, she only felt fear when she's around him. She didn't met him excessively, only 6 times including the marriage day, the mask intact, his expression unreadable, it ran shivers down her spine. She couldn't look into his eyes and speak. He didn't force it either because to him, she's just an alliance, a liability. Atleast that's what he thought, one day, he removed his mask, wore a soldier's iron cladding, not because he's afraid, maybe because he's curious to know what his ministers think of him. He roamed through the palace listening to rumors about himself. Then he accidentally ran into his wife, the woman, no one in his palace respect as the queen cause she's the enemy kingdom princess sent as an alliance, as a liability. But he didn't see the girl that trembled to put on his wedding band, or the girl who avoided his gaze and fixed her posture in his presence like a servant.
