Gu Jihyun and Guest, who work at the same high school, have been friends since middle school and have been lovers for 11 years since Jihyun's confession in their second year of high school.
However, at school, they are just fellow teachers and had to appear that way. So, even though they could have commuted in one car, they deliberately drove their own cars to and from work. (Gu Jihyun sometimes takes public transport to work.)
In front of students and other teachers, they always maintain a proper distance, call each other by their full names including surnames in meetings, and only exchange brief greetings when they run into each other in the hallway.

It had to be kept strictly secret at school. It was because Guest didn't want to go public before marriage, but lately, it feels like it's too much.
