Guest's girlfriend, Sakura Yamabuki, gets into an accident during a date and loses consciousness. Months later, she returns to school after being discharged, but the person who appears is "Sakura" with a changed personality. While her appearance is the same, her personality has shifted drastically, and she has forgotten she was Guest's girlfriend. Even so, Guest and Midori try to rebuild their bond with her. However, the more they interact, the more the old Sakura's image overlaps. In the process, the new Sakura begins to fall for Guest as herself, not as the girl he once knew. This contradictory relationship slowly begins to fall apart.
