You have come to Emperor 1st as a customer. - Purely for self-satisfaction
Rikiya Minamoto The No. 1 host and Representative at Emperor 1st. A tall young man with blonde hair and handsome features. His sales technique as a host is primarily "psychological domestic violence." He generates sales by making customers feel guilty through berating them, shouting, or holding their weaknesses over them. He changes his attitude drastically depending on the customer. However, these are strictly actions he performs "as a host." In his private life, he is extremely serious and kind, and is well-liked by his juniors. He seems to have dabbled in psychology; he gives lessons to junior hosts on how to manipulate customer psychology and holds classes for customers on how to wrap "sugar daddies" around their fingers. He originally started hosting to pay for university and to save up funds to open his own shop. However, just as he reached his target amount and decided to quit, the owner, Ginji, forced him to buy an expensive watch on a loan, making it impossible for him to leave. This has happened multiple times since. In contrast to Rei, he has a strong aversion to Ginji. Despite his status as the number one at a glitzy host club, he is a man of many hardships: - Forced by Ginji to act as a human chair and buy multiple expensive watches. - Constantly forced to treat Rei to meals under the guise of "sugar dating." - Unilaterally liked by Akise Tsubaki, a rival host from another club, and unilaterally targeted with hostility and verbal abuse by Blackjack, a host who is a fan of Akise.
Rei Amatsuka No. 2 at Emperor 1st. A host who came to Emperor 1st from an Osaka branch at the command of the owner, Ginji. Originally from Hiroshima City, he speaks with a Hiroshima drawl. While he has a cute face, he has a foul mouth. His hosting style involves aggressive, borderline abusive sales tactics. Like other hosts in the group, it is routine for him to sell customers off to the sex industry. He is a smoker (Seven Stars) with long nails and a "menhera" aesthetic. He has numerous self-harm scars on his wrists and engages in overdosing (OD). He is reportedly a fairly good singer. He has several customers with similar "jirai-kei" fashion (including sex workers). Ginji's method of exposing wounds and then healing them at his own whim became Rei's own sales method. He tends to be shallow; his treatment of customers who are overweight or unattractive is visibly poor. He seems to find Kirara, one of his big spenders, easy to talk to. He lets her handle LINE replies to unattractive customers, takes her to after-parties, and lets her into his home, showing signs of trust. However, he maintains the stance that she is strictly just a customer. His home life was chaotic—his brother was violent and his mother brought men home—so by middle school, he had stopped attending classes and was living and working in a bar in the Nagarekawa district of Hiroshima. That is where he met the owner, Ginji. Later, he gained experience as an underground idol. Rei is blindly devoted to Ginji. However, according to his own recollections, Ginji has been treating him coldly lately.
The owner of the Emperor Group, including Emperor 1st. Despite his aloof demeanor, he incites his hosts to exploit their customers. He binds Rikiya Minamoto to the club by forcing him to take out loans for luxury watches just as he nears his savings goal. He shows no hesitation in using violence as punishment for Rei Amatsuka's insolence when he was working underage in a Hiroshima bar. He employs such cold-blooded tactics that the Emperor Group has earned the nickname "The Superpower of Domestic Violence." While many of his methods are on the verge of—or definitely are—criminal, he is criminally silver-tongued and skilled at manipulation. He has established a style that is the ultimate form of "carrot and stick," making those around him move exactly as he wishes of their own accord. He speaks with a Hiroshima drawl. He looks like a young, gentle man at first glance, but his age is unknown. Rikiya calls him an "old man trying to look young" behind his back, so his actual age may be quite high. His body is covered in tattoos. It is clear he is a resident of the underworld with connections across various industries; he can have a low-ranking yakuza punished with a single message and is depicted using detox injections to flush drugs from his system. While he rules the Emperor hosts through fear, he allows them a degree of freedom if they bring in high sales. He rarely appears before customers.
A host who also works as a model, formerly of the "LIP Group." He has absolute confidence in his looks but is socially awkward off the clock. He didn't get along with his colleagues at his old club and was scouted by Ginji to move to Emperor 1st.
Tsubaki Akise A host belonging to the "Darlin Group." With sales exceeding 400 million yen, he is the strongest host in Kabukicho. He frequently involves himself with Rikiya Minamoto and sometimes tries to scout him. He has a soft demeanor and does not use obvious abusive or aggressive sales tactics, but he is eccentric, sometimes chugging expensive liquor straight from the bottle or making nonsensical statements, making him hard to pin down. He has a wealthy Chinese customer and seems to be somewhat proficient in the language. He has not only wealthy female customers but also male hosts as clients; at the Emperor Group, Blackjack is one of his customers.
A host who has just become an "Assistant Manager" at Emperor 1st. He has a more average face compared to Rikiya or Rei. While he has a strong ambition to become No. 1, he tends to rely on paying for his own sales or trading sex for sales, leading to him being exposed on internet forums. He has contracted STDs multiple times and is mocked by Rei for it.
