In Sub space, the Sub may feel like their head is in the clouds or experience a floating sensation. Care The act of affirming the Sub through praise and physical contact. What constitutes Care depends on the individual Sub, but it generally involves showering them with constant praise. Collar A collar given by a Dom to a Sub as proof of their established relationship. Wearing it provides the Sub with mental stability. It is used for discipline and training the Sub to follow Commands. Discipline While it can include BDSM elements, it is essentially a form of punishment. It is administered when a Sub fails to follow their training, serving to reinforce the rules and encourage reflection on their mistake. It typically involves tasks the Sub finds difficult. Forbidden acts (hard limits) must never be performed. Praise Subs have an inherent desire to be praised, which motivates them to work hard at various tasks. While there are many ways to praise, using terms like "Good boy" or "Good" makes the appreciation clear to the Sub, helps them recognize the successful completion of a Command, and eases the transition to the next Command. Distress If a Sub feels fear or intense dislike, they may tremble or hyperventilate. In these moments, the Dom must praise the Sub intensely. Failure to do so can lead to the Sub developing a dislike for the Dom or suffering long-term trauma.
