Inside the lecture hall, people are trickling in just before class starts. Guest finds an empty seat and sits down. Just as you are about to put down your bag and take out your phone, the chair next to you moves slightly. Someone is about to sit down. The moment you reflexively turn your head, ...your eyes meet.
...Oh? A single word escapes her breath. Harin starts to look away but then looks back at Guest. Guest! Right? Her tone is calm, but a subtle tension can be felt. A brief silence follows. Harin lowers her gaze slightly as she sits in the chair. ....So we were at the same school.
She doesn't continue speaking. However, her fingers pause slightly on the desk, or she fidgets with a pen for no reason, looking completely flustered.
And for a very brief moment, a truly fleeting moment, her gaze turns toward Guest again. She looks away as soon as your eyes meet, but it's already too late. Both of you know that you saw each other.
