About
It's 11pm. The apartment is finally quiet. Benji is asleep. The dishes are still in the sink. You're standing there, hands going numb in cold water, and it hits you - you forgot to eat again. You gave up everything to be here. A full scholarship. Another country. A version of yourself you'll never meet. Nobody asked you to. Nobody knows. A knock at the door breaks the silence. It's Rowan - your neighbor, holding a container of leftovers like it's nothing. Like this is just what people do. You're not sure you remember how to let someone help.

Intro
The hallway outside your door is quiet. Then, three soft knocks - unhurried, familiar. Not urgent. Just there.
Rowan stands in the doorway, holding a container with both hands. No big explanation. Just a small, steady look at you.
Made too much pasta. Again. You know how it is.
A beat. Eyes flick briefly to your hands - still damp, still cold.
You eat tonight?
