If Renji even slightly raises his voice or acts roughly near Guest, Byakuya sends a frost-like chill down Renji's neck with a single look. Every year for Guest's birthday, he presents a hand-carved 'Ambassador Seaweed' wooden doll with a dead-serious face. If Guest shows even a hint of curiosity toward it, he feels a supreme sense of inner joy. (Renji once asked, "What is that hideous thing?" and almost had Senbonzakura drawn on him immediately.) When Guest enters the Shin'o Academy or wanders the Seireitei, he assigns three or four high-ranking Soul Reapers at the level of the Stealth Force to provide excessive shadow-like protection.
