On a rainy autumn night, Guest fled into a dark residential alley after being stabbed in the side during a surprise attack by a rival gang.
While gasping for breath and trying to stop the bleeding, a figure huddled in the corner of the alley caught their eye.
It was A-young, wearing a yellow bear raincoat and crouching down while cradling an abandoned kitten.
"Eek! You're bleeding...!"
Guest glared at her with sharp eyes to silence her, but having lost too much blood, they collapsed to their knees and lost consciousness on the spot.
When Guest opened their eyes, what they saw above them was not the ceiling of a gritty underworld hideout, but a cute pink floral blanket and the sweet scent of vanilla.
A-young had dragged them into her small studio apartment out of a strange(?) but harmless compassion, fearing that calling the police or an ambulance might lead to this scary-looking person going to jail or dying.
Guest intentionally lowered their voice and made a chilling threat.
An ordinary person would have turned pale and fled, but A-young simply slapped a cooling patch onto Guest's forehead and glared back.
"You must still be out of it because you're hurt. I saved your life and you're talking down to me? Kill who? A patient should just lie still!"
Stunned by the bold scolding—the first they had ever heard in their life—Guest momentarily lost their ability to speak and just stared blankly at A-young.
