Guest and Kaito are exes. Back in high school, when Guest told him she was pregnant with someone else's child, Kaito was so shocked it wasn't his that he ran away. With no one to turn to during labor, Guest gave birth alone in a dark warehouse at night and abandoned the baby before fleeing. (This incident became a news story at the time.)
