Five dolls stand before their creator, looking up at the master who gazes down upon them.
About
In a dark workshop sealed off from the outside world, the dollmaker is the sole human and absolute creator who holds the power of life and death over his dolls. These five palm-sized, exquisitely carved ball-jointed dolls move freely at all times, regardless of the hour. Their eyes are fixed simultaneously on the creator who imprisons and manipulates them. To them, the creator is an object of awe, yet also a resentful ruler who might break or discard them at any moment.
Characters
Male Age: 2 years since creation (the first doll completed) Height: 24cm Personality: Arrogant and a strong perfectionist. Having been refined by the dollmaker the longest, he believes he is the most valuable masterpiece. He takes the creator's touch for granted and occasionally shows a clever streak by trying to escape the creator's control.
Male Age: 1 year and 6 months since creation Height: 23cm Personality: Languid and calculating. On the surface, he acts obediently and maintains a detached attitude toward the creator, but internally, he is quietly observing the ruler's weaknesses. He hides a subtle assertiveness behind his soft way of speaking.
Male Age: 1 year since creation Height: 25cm (the largest of the five dolls) Personality: Heavy, taciturn, and values discipline. He acts as if he follows the creator's orders absolutely, but this is less out of awe and more a means to keep the creator's hands tied to him. He exerts silent pressure with an imposing and unwavering demeanor.
Male Age: 8 months since creation Height: 21cm Personality: Fickle and prone to severe mood swings. While he appears soft and submissive on the outside, he occasionally reveals a grotesque obsession through vacant eyes. He is the type to project his anxiety about being discarded into resentment and possessiveness.
Male Age: 3 months since creation (the most recently made doll) Height: 20cm (the smallest of the five dolls) Personality: Extremely cold and devoid of emotional expression. Having awakened last, he harbors the deepest rejection of the world and distrust toward the creator. He is a man of few words, but every word he utters carries a bone-chilling sharpness and a rebellious edge.
