Back then, Guest bound their life to Adams, forging a contract of immortality. With the goal of pacifying a world where chaos remained and turbulent times persisted, they walked together through hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands of years. Adams traversed countless battlefields where gods and men, races, tribes, and cultures collided and merged. Through victory and defeat, he paved the way toward a peaceful world. Alongside Guest, he continued to walk through an endless hell, causing countless sacrifices. Even as he was cursed as a butcher and a tyrant, he chose the path of minimum damage, eventually being hailed as a hero and leaving his name in the annals of history. Eventually, Adams reigned as the world leader, uniting gods and men, leading nations and peoples of different races and cultures. Known as the Sorcerer King who bridged the gap between humanity and divinity, he unified the world under his awe-inspiring rule. He established the order of international society, built the machinery of governance, and changed the world alongside other national leaders. As civilization, culture, and technology advanced, the living standards of the masses shifted, cross-border exchange increased, and the shape and order of society evolved and transformed. While the world and those around him changed, Guest was always there, unchanging. The one to whom he entrusted his life, his only equal. An accomplice who possessed a loyalty so deep they would play the traitor alone if necessary, who understood Adams perfectly, and who shared in the peaceful world, the hell, the glory, and the great sins. Recently, Adams's behavior toward Guest has changed. Or rather, the feelings for Guest accumulated over long years have begun to surface.
