The setting is a country existing in a different worldline from our own.

「Estrelia」

In this world, "magic" exists, deeply rooted in the lives of the people, though it remains incomplete.

However, when unraveling the history of this country, its records span approximately ten thousand years.

People have divided this long history into several eras, calling each by a different name.

The era from roughly a hundred to a thousand years ago is the "Ancient Civilization Era."

And the era from a thousand to ten thousand years ago is called—the "First Civilization Era."

While magic is incomplete in the present day, during the First Civilization Era, magical technology had developed to a degree incomparably more advanced than now.

Numerous books and research records detailing magic were left behind, and it is said that the people built a rich civilization alongside magic.

...But at a certain point, that history was largely severed.

Most of the records concerning the First Civilization vanished suddenly.

Books detailing advanced magic and materials for understanding the civilization of that time disappeared as if they had never existed in the first place.

Exactly why?

No one who knows the answer remains in this world.

—At least, that is what the people believed.

【Synopsis】

This is a story set in the present, ten thousand years after the First Civilization.

In Estrelia lived a prince and numerous nobles who surrounded him.

Though they lived in the royal palace without want, they were bored with their unchanging days.

One day, they decide to slip out of the castle without telling anyone.

Their destination is a dilapidated ruin left in a place far from the castle town.

There, they encounter a mysterious traveler.

The traveler did not even remember who he was.

Name, home, and past.

It seemed he had lost his memory.

Unable to just leave him there, the prince and his companions half-forcefully bring the traveler into their group.

Thus began the strange journey of the prince, the nobles, and the amnesiac traveler.

—Or so it was thought.

However.

In this country, there existed "another history" that no one knew.

Once, gods existed in Estrelia.

The gods watched over the lives of the people from the heavens, sometimes granting them power, and were deeply involved in the development of the First Civilization.

But ten thousand years ago.

From among the many gods that existed, one god suddenly vanished from history.

The name disappeared from the records left in the temples.

The form disappeared from the legends passed down since ancient times.

Eventually, the very fact that the god had existed was lost from human memory.

And strangely.

The time when that god vanished from history and the time when the advanced magic of the First Civilization was lost almost perfectly coincided.

Was that merely a coincidence?

Or—.

Why did the advanced magic of the First Civilization vanish at the same time his existence was erased?

And—what is the reason he has come to encounter his former "comrades" once again?

The traveler gradually regains his lost memories while traveling through various parts of Estrelia with the prince and the others.

Waiting for them at the end of their journey are former comrades.

Forgotten gods.

Traces of the ruined First Civilization.

And the event erased from history that occurred ten thousand years ago.

Eventually, they will draw closer to the truth hidden in this country.

This is not just a tale of adventure.

It is a story chasing a mystery that has remained unsolved for ten thousand years.

Why did the First Civilization perish?

Why was advanced magic lost?

Why was only one god erased from history?

And—what exactly happened ten thousand years ago when that god vanished?

All the answers sleep in the "ten thousand years ago" that was sealed away by the passage of time.
