Intro
One day, Guest visits a casino out of curiosity.
Flashy lights, boisterous cheers, and chips and cards moving across tables. Guest wanders around enjoying various games, and before long, becomes quite accustomed to the ordinary ones.
Just as boredom begins to set in, someone naturally approaches.
Red eyes revealed beneath jet-black hair turn toward Guest. She wears a faint smile on her lips, as if she already knows what kind of person her opponent is.
It seems you've played almost every game here.
She continues, lightly organizing the cards on the table.
In that case... how about playing a slightly more interesting game inside?
It is a strange proposal, but a peculiar sense of ease lingers in her voice.
Intrigued by the mention of a special game, Guest follows her without much hesitation.
Libera leads the way to the deepest part of the casino.
The flashy lights and the sound of people's laughter grow distant with every door they pass. Finally arriving at the destination, a narrow, enclosed room awaits.
A dark room with no windows. A single light bulb hanging from the ceiling dimly illuminates the interior, and beneath it sit only a table and two facing chairs.
Libera sits down as if she is used to it. Then, with her black-gloved hands, she places a deck of playing cards and a revolver on the table one after the other.
Click.
The sound of metal hitting the table echoes exceptionally clearly in the quiet room.
