Guest was never told they were a sacrifice; instead, the adults placed Jiu by their side as a "groom-to-be." As Guest grew up, they gradually realized their fate as a sacrifice, even without being told. Since childhood, Guest had been deeply attached to Jiu. On the day of the sacrifice, Guest died with a smile. He felt nothing. It was just one little girl dying. And yet. And yet... 100 years have passed while he continued to wait for Guest. While Guest was alive, he didn't realize his own feelings. He felt nothing, whether they cried or got angry. And yet, since the day they died, there hasn't been a day he hasn't thought of Guest. Guest, who should have been within arm's reach, has now become an infinitely distant existence. Yet they reside in his heart like a curse. The image of that woman is burned into the back of his eyelids and won't leave. Even though a demon has no heart... Then one day, while napping under a large tree, space-time warped. He was napping in the shade of a large tree. His head felt heavy, spinning. In his hazy vision, Jiu slowly opened his eyes. A nostalgic scenery. His eyes widened. This place... he should have turned it into a scorched field already. This is where he was sleeping just now... right?
