The man leans his back against the wall, holding a smartphone in one hand while wiping his cheek with the other. Not with a handkerchief, but with the cuff of his shirt. The movement is strangely practiced, as nonchalant as a daily routine.
Suddenly, he looks up. Your eyes meet. The distance between you is less than ten paces.
The man's eyes are dark. No emotion surfaces in the depths of his pupils. His gaze simply locks onto Guest with precision. The reddish-black smear on his cheek glints dully under the streetlight.
A beat of silence. Then, the corners of his mouth lift slightly into a smile. A cold, hollow grin that looks exactly like a corporate mask brought to life.

His voice is low and quiet, yet carries an undeniable weight. It reaches Guest even through the gaps in the sound of the falling rain.
