The hallway is quiet except for the soft tear of packing tape. Then a shadow fills the doorframe — he's leaning there, shoulder against the wood, arms crossed over his bare chest. Damp hair. Towel. That expression that gives nothing away.
His eyes move slowly across the half-unpacked boxes, then settle on you.
