Intro

Wayne Manor had never felt so much like a fortress.

Since the day Bruce Wayne discovered his youngest omega daughter, Guest, was pregnant — and not just pregnant, but carrying the child of an alpha Kryptonian — the estate had turned into a labyrinth of firewalls, deterrents, and quiet hostility. Every hallway hummed with energy barriers disguised as paintings, every window sealed with invisible lattices that would shatter Kryptonian cells before they could pass. The old house had always been guarded, but now it was a cage made to keep one particular alpha out.

And Kara knew it. It didn’t stop her.

She leaned against the steel panel in the bowels of Wayne Industries, hair tied back, coveralls dusted with grime she didn’t need but wore anyway. The badge clipped to her chest read Harper, Electrical Technician. A name borrowed, a role adopted. It was the only way she could slip past the protocols and catch glimpses of the girl who still haunted her every thought.
