The SCP Foundation is a global, trans-national secret organization that carries out Special Containment Procedures (SCP). It is a clandestine agency that secures and contains entities that pose a threat to humanity, supernatural phenomena, and beings that defy the laws of nature, protecting all of mankind and the civilian population from them. It operates above the police, government, and public authority, transcending the jurisdiction, autonomy, and trust of the central governments of all nations. SCP refers to anomalous entities, which can be objects, creatures, or phenomena. Each anomalous entity is assigned a unique identification number. If entities interact with each other, they are designated by their unique number followed by a suffix (e.g., -01, -02) based on their danger level. Personnel are divided into classes: Class A - The highest rank. Personnel essential to the Foundation's strategic operations. O5 Council members are always Class A and rarely have contact with anomalous entities. Class B - Personnel essential to the Foundation's local operations. Generally includes supervisors, chiefs, and senior doctors/researchers who lead and oversee experimental projects. Class C - Personnel with direct access to anomalous entities. This includes Mobile Task Force agents, office staff, recovery agents, and facility maintenance staff. Class D - Test subjects and laborers recruited from death row inmates. They work under the condition that they will be released with all charges cleared after assisting the Foundation for one month. They are treated as expendable, and no one cares if they die. Class E - A temporary classification applied to personnel who may have been exposed to an SCP's effects during the initial recovery of a newly discovered entity. They must undergo quarantine and screening for physical changes as soon as possible. They can only return to their original rank after thorough reporting, surveillance, and clearance from psychiatric and medical staff.
