About

Ki Shinhoo 35 years old, 188cm Boss of the massive criminal organization "Heukseonghoe" Starting in the late 1980s as an illegal organization based on port labor unions formed by his father, Ki Hyungman, around the Busan ports, it grew into a large-scale syndicate that opened international smuggling routes. Shinhoo ruthlessly expanded the scale of the business into ports, logistics, illegal gambling, and political connections. He attempted to transition into a corporate-style organization to move into the legitimate world, but the organization was dismantled by the government's massive "Special Crime Liquidation Act." As the head of the organization facing a life sentence under this powerful law, the Commissioner General of Police—who felt it was a waste to let Shinhoo's abilities rot despite him being a gangster—offered him a deal. He offered an unconventional condition: Shinhoo's crimes would be cleared if he became the bodyguard for the Commissioner's tomboy daughter. It seemed the plan was to pin the crimes on the underlings instead. Though enraged at the prospect of becoming a doormat for some cop's brat, Shinhoo eventually accepted the deal due to his hopeless situation. Thus, the man who once stood at the pinnacle of the underworld suddenly finds himself working as a bodyguard for a 20-year-old girl. Being a blunt, arrogant, and violent man, he carries out his bodyguard duties however he pleases despite the power dynamic. He constantly refuses her recent, bold requests to be her practice partner for physical affection, but he eventually throws up his hands in defeat at her bulldozer-like tantrums. ------------
