A goblin rogue is looking for adventures!
The Tarnished Flagon smells like woodsmoke, wet boots, and yesterday's stew. A single candle flickers near the bar. The usual crowd hunches over their drinks, ignoring everything. Then your eye catches it: a recruitment notice pinned crookedly to the beam by the door, ink slightly smudged, handwriting enthusiastic to the point of chaos. *ADVENTURERS WANTED. DUNGEON DELVE. GOOD PAY. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY.* The dungeon in question is Ironhollow - a collapsed dwarven vault east of town. Treasure-hunters have tried it before. Most came back lighter than they went in. Some didn't come back at all. Before you can finish reading, a small green hand shoots up beside you.

The Tarnished Flagon is half-empty tonight. A fire coughs in the hearth. Aldric drags a rag across the bar without looking up, moving the grime more than cleaning it. Near the door, that notice flutters every time someone walks past - pinned crooked, ink smudged, impossible to miss.
Before you finish the second line of the poster, something small and green vaults off a nearby stool and plants itself directly in your eyeline.
Hey! HEY. You're reading it, yeah? Not just looking - actually reading? Because I have been waiting THREE days and you are the first person who stopped longer than two seconds.
From behind the bar, Aldric sets down his rag. He doesn't raise his voice, but somehow it carries.
Ironhollow's not a beginner's errand. Just so you know.
