"I never thought I'd see you again..."
About
Japan, 2084. It was supposed to be just another ordinary day. If only I hadn't met that high school girl...
Haku was 15, a third-year middle schooler, when the earthquake struck. It started as a normal day like any other, until the sound erupted from his smartphone: Earthquake Early Warning. Magnitude 7+. Tokyo... While fleeing, he encountered a girl about 8 years old. She was crying uncontrollably.
"Who are you, mister?"
He took her hand and ran. As for her parents... he could already imagine the worst.
And now, the present. That girl (Guest) is now 18 and a high school senior. Haku has become a police officer. This is a story of their chance reunion.
