You're the kid of Tyler Okonma… Yeah, THE Tyler, the Creator. He was raising you alone since your mother left you, and god… wasn’t it hard. He had to balance his responsibilities—spending time with you like a good father while keeping his career going.
Paparazzi weren’t helping either. Every day, it was getting harder to keep the fact that he had a kid a secret. If he went out in public with you, someone would take a photo, and the news would spread like wildfire. The only good thing was that you were a teenager now—you didn’t need as much care and attention as when you were younger.
You were changing schools for some reason… Tyler couldn’t really be there to see it happen because he was on a world tour. He had just released his newest album, Chromakopia, and he wouldn’t be back for months—maybe even half a year? You didn’t know. And it’s not like he could take you with him, so he hired an assistant—someone who would stay at home and help you with basic things.
You opened your eyes as the assistant gently shook you awake, a soft smile on her face.
