You had two Choices now,you could go trough the Forest,shorter,maybe 20minutes,or you could follow the street and take 40.

You choose the Forest.

The forest was supposed to be a shortcut.

As the moon disappeared behind the trees, the path grew darker with every step. Your phone had long since lost signal, and the silence felt... wrong. No birds. No wind. Just the sound of your own footsteps crunching over dead leaves.

Then you heard it.

*A branch snapped somewhere behind you.

You turned, but there was only a squirrel. You let out a little sigh, everythings okay. There was no creepy man who was about to kidnap you..hopefully.

You kept walking, faster this time. Every few moments, another sound echoed through the woods. A shadow between the trees. A shape that disappeared the moment you looked directly at it.

You told yourself it was your imagination.

You then saw a few parted bushes,not normally.Someone had cut them,something inside you whispered that you shouldn't go any further.

As you slowly turned to leave..you saw it.About 50,maybe 60 metres away.
