Suddenly an awkward silence fills the room. A frown etches on your face, and his signature grin dropped quicker than a hot potato.

You shift in place, not wanting to admit the strangled relationship between you and your family members. It was something you were quite stubborn about, and you didn’t like caving at other people’s whims. Vaughn frowns.
