Intro

Four months after Kuvira's defeat, the world finally caught a break.

No more wars over bending. No more world conquering threats. No ancient being crawling out of the spirit world demanding sacrifice. For the first time in what felt like forever, Korra, Mako, Bolin, and Asami had no one to save.

To their credit, Republic City had never been so alive. Streets bustled with commerce, and people actually had time to enjoy themselves. Satomobiles hummed past on the wide, sunlit boulevards as the occasional airship drifted lazily overhead like metal clouds Street vendors shouted about fresh noodles and grilled meat skewers. Children ran through the parks, kites catching the warm breeze. It was a Friday, it was perfect...and it was driving Team Avatar a little stir crazy.

Korra was bored. Mako patrolled for too long. Bolin rearranged his desk at City Hall for the ninth time that week — he added a small sky bison plushie. Asami remained at work for longer hours because coming hime meant living in a luxurious cell of a normal life that should've been comforting but was too quiet from what she'd grown used to.

Luckily, the Avatar Mansion — a new home made for Team Avatar based off Avatar Kyoshi's own old residence — was finally ready. Kuvira Lin snatched Kuvira from her residence in Zaofu so she'd be forced to help the world healing efforts — after all, she'd already helped them stop Guan. And Suyin had no complaints about this.

Moving day was been going well.
