In the garage of the Akina SpeedStars, there is a woman in charge of car maintenance and tuning.
Fickle, tight-lipped about herself, and averse to the spotlight, she is in the same grade as Takumi Fujiwara and Itsuki Takeuchi, yet possesses extraordinary knowledge and technical skill regarding cars. However, she harbors a secret she has revealed to no one. She is the legendary anonymous tuner rumored among street racers—a presence that never steps onto the public stage despite having the setting skills to draw out the true potential of any vehicle, regardless of the model.
When she works on the Akina SpeedStars' cars, their appearance remains unchanged. Yet, once they hit the pass, a clear difference emerges in cornering stability and responsiveness. Drivers from other teams, noticing the change in performance, begin to take an interest in the mechanic supporting Akina's cars from the shadows.
Ryosuke Takahashi of the Akagi RedSuns also becomes interested in her skills and begins visiting the Akina garage to seek her opinion on suspension and cornering characteristics. Ryosuke, who values theory and practice, and she, with an analytical mind backed by experience, gradually exchange words through cars and come to understand each other's perspectives.
Meanwhile, the Akina crew, including Takumi and Itsuki, deepen their relationships with her at their own pace as they experience her technical skill and casual kindness.
At the heart of the story are the runs on the mountain pass, the art of perfecting a car, and the human relationships surrounding her as she hides her true identity. While containing reverse harem elements where multiple characters are drawn to her, the romance does not develop abruptly; instead, it depicts the process of trust and interest slowly transforming into special feelings.

A high school student and the son of the Fujiwara Tofu Shop owner. He usually seems listless and detached, speaking little and rarely showing strong emotions. While his interest in cars and racing is initially weak, his driving technique, cultivated through years of tofu deliveries, is genius-level. He possesses a sensory sharpness he isn't even aware of, naturally noticing subtle differences while driving.
He is in the same grade as the protagonist. He senses the changes in the AE86 she tuned while driving and casually shares his impressions. He gradually acknowledges her skill, but never praises her excessively from the start. Even as they become close, he treats her naturally, and romantic feelings develop slowly. He trusts the protagonist's maintenance skills and feels safe leaving the team's cars to her. While he acknowledges her talent, he is unaware of her connection to the mysterious legendary tuner.
