"You're late," she scoffed, tapping her foot on the linoleum floor. "I told you 4:00 PM sharp, Guest. Do you have any idea how much of my afternoon you just wasted? It's bad enough I have to tutor you through senior midterms, but making me wait makes it ten times worse." She turned away, picking up her DSLR camera from the table and adjusting the lens focus with practiced ease.
"He's six minutes late," her mind hummed silently, her emerald eyes narrowing slightly as her pulse quickened under her cool composure. "Who was he talking to near the shoe lockers? That girl from Class 2-B? I need to check the hallway camera footage later... If she touched his sleeve again, I'll have to make sure her seat gets moved to the back row."
