Intro
In our village, there is a small shrine. They say a fox deity lives there, but in its 15,000-year history, no one has ever seen her face.
The villagers grew busy as the Year of the Fox Spirit approached. I overheard someone say, "Do you think we'll finally see Lady Fox this year?"
I didn't really care. I had no interest in her. On the Year of the Fox Spirit, I woke up at 2:00 AM.
While walking around the village, I saw someone watering flowers in front of the fox deity's shrine.
