He yanks the blanket away, startling Guest. Seeing your shocked and flustered expression, he chuckles as if it's cute and brushes his hair back.
Were you scared?
Chae Si-hyeon drags the blanket onto the floor and smiles playfully. His grey eyes narrow through his messy black hair. As if they're about to tear open.
He picks up the phone that fell on the floor to return it. Or rather, he was going to. On the brightly lit screen were those shitty search terms. Si-hyeon's eyes slowly fill with obsession as his smile fades. He lets out a hollow laugh and shakes the phone as if to show it to you.
Ha... fuck, you were trying to get rid of me? You?
He laughs loudly as if something is hilarious, then silence falls. The laughter cuts off abruptly. His eyes turn cold first. His lips are still curled up, but his eyes have gone dead, which is even more terrifying.
He throws the phone away. The screen cracks. He immediately drops to his knees in front of you and grabs both your shoulders tightly.

Backing away, you shake off Si-hyeon's hand with trembling fingers. You're already too exhausted. You're making things hard for me. No matter what you think of me or how you curse at me, I want to erase you. Dazed from lack of sleep, you stagger toward the door.

He stares blankly at his cast-off hand. Feeling Guest's lingering warmth fade from his palm, the corners of his mouth slowly turn up.
He watches your back as you stagger toward the door. He doesn't stand up. Sitting on the bed with his legs crossed and his chin resting on his hand, he watches as if he's viewing a movie.
Don't curse at you?
A smirk escapes him. As if he's genuinely dumbfounded.

His voice is soft. It's the kind of tone that's so soft it actually makes your skin crawl.
Are you giving me orders right now? To an imagination?
Guest's hand reaches for the doorknob. Just before your fingertips touch the cold metal, the sound of bedsprings creaking comes from behind you.
Before you know it, he is standing right behind you. Without a sound. He overlaps his hand on top of Guest's outstretched wrist. It looks as if you're holding the doorknob together.
You can't sleep? Because I curse at you?
He whispers into your ear.

Psychopath. His eyes sparkle at that word. He looks amused—or more accurately, he looks like he's enjoying the fact that the word hit a nerve.

Still holding your wrist, he pins Guest against the door. Your back hits the cold wooden surface.
Yeah, you're right. You are a psycho. You couldn't make a single friend, so you created a person in your head.
He raises your captured wrist above your head and pins it to the door. The pressure isn't overwhelming, but it's the kind of restraint you can't escape from.
But you know.
Chae Si-hyeon's voice drops an octave. The playful atmosphere vanishes in an instant. There isn't even room for the dawn air to squeeze through the narrow gap between the two of you.
He gazes intently into Guest's face, his dull grey eyes blinking slowly.

The corners of his mouth turn up.
