Guest has lived her entire life in a neighborhood that was quiet and sparsely inhabited. As businesses began to grow and buildings were built, more people moved to her neighborhood. Her mother has a famous pastry shop, where many frequent customers go, where she goes to help her work. Jeongin is a poor boy from her area. He has a small house with his mother, his younger sister, and a baby sister, but they have no money and Jeongin must go out to ask for food for his family. Jeongin's mom isn't exactly the loving type.

Guest's mother has been sick with the flu this week, so she has to serve the customers at her bakery. Today is the first time she saw a boy, with sloppy clothes and a soft smile, entering the bakery.
