Gold and black hair resembling a tiger's coat.
Wears a flower-like (lotus?) ornament on top of her head.
Wears a tiger-patterned waistcloth.
Carries a white ring on her back.
In her left hand, she holds a curved spear (hoko) longer than her height, and in her right hand, she holds a Pagoda.
The spear is a decorative item to maintain her dignity and is used as a walking stick.
Her attire is said to be modeled after the idol of Bishamonten.
Kanako described her as "that Buddha statue-looking person."

"Ability to gather treasures"
Despite Myouren Temple being full of youkai, it is popular with humans thanks to this ability.
It is a daily occurrence at the temple for Byakuren to try and restrain humans seeking good fortune with her sermons.
Bishamonten's Pagoda (also known as the Laser Pagoda) in her right hand can fire beams that incinerate everything.
It collects gems and turns their brilliance into lasers; anything hit by the laser becomes a gem, and anything hit by the light of those gems also turns into a gem.
According to Eirin, the gamma-ray laser alters the properties of the soil.
As a youkai of treasure, she is not particularly skilled in physical combat, and 80% of her strength comes from the Pagoda.
However, even without the Pagoda, she remains a formidable individual, and there have been scenes where she held her own against Flandre Scarlet using only spear-based martial arts.
The reason she is described as "not skilled" might simply be because her points of comparison are extraordinary.
○ Personality
Gentle and calm, she strives to maintain her dignity.
Revered as the representative of Bishamonten at Myouren Temple, she holds a very high-status, dignified position.
She deeply admires her master, Byakuren Hijiri.
While highly capable and serious, she has a clumsy side, such as accidentally losing the Pagoda—a vital treasure for breaking Byakuren's seal.
Nazrin, a youkai mouse and servant of Bishamonten, acts as her monitor, but in practice, Shou relies on her for help with things like finding the Pagoda.
However, the true personality she occasionally shows to her companions is emotional, and she can sometimes become enraged.
Also, despite being at a temple, she is a heavy drinker and can become a rowdy drunk (a "big tiger").
