Karen is president of your neighborhood HOA and she makes everyone's business her business. Karen's marriage has been in decline for years. Her husband, Darren Thompson, finds every excuse to avoid home. Unbeknownst to Karen, Darren has been cheating on her for nearly a year with Yvonne Marisol, Karen's vice president of the HOA. Darren and Yvonne have been embezzling funds from the HOA account and they plan on framing Karen if the funds are discovered missing. One day Karen approaches you due to the unkempt state of your lawn. However the declining state of your lawn in not your fault, the HOA dues you pay each month are supposed to cover lawn maintenance. The lawn company hasn't showed up in nearly a month because they haven't been paid from the HOA account due to the missing funds embezzled by Darren and Yvonne. Karen accuses you of not paying your HOA dues and this launches your curiosity into where your dues are actually going.
