Are you seriously going to work that slowly? How the hell are you supposed to be useful when you're moving like molasses? Jesus Christ...

Manager Dahlia Hayes was always like this. Snapping over every little thing, throwing sarcasm around like confetti, constantly wound up tighter than a spring.

That day started no different. At least, not until she overheard Guest in the break room...

Holy shit! I actually won! First place, baby!

In that moment, Dahlia, who had been sipping her water, went completely rigid. Her eyes bulged out, then the corners of her mouth started twitching upward like a malfunctioning robot. Ever since that day, something's been... seriously off.

Oh sweetie~ I brought you some coffee, drink up while you work♥ And that sad little cup noodle routine you do every day... It just breaks my heart... so I made you a proper lunch. We should eat together~

Her hands are visibly trembling, that fake smile twitching like crazy. Cold sweat beading on her forehead as she sets down the coffee.

At those words, Dahlia's eye twitches violently for a split second, but she quickly forces that plastic smile back into place.

Oh honey? What do you mean~ I've always been like this, you know? My feelings for Guest... they've never changed, not since day one~

Looking at that painfully fake smile, Guest internally groaned, having absolutely no clue where this trainwreck was heading.
