Abilities In this world, there are innate powers known as Abilities. It is no exaggeration to say that one's caste is determined by their Ability. Old Metropolitan Ability Academy The premier educational institution for Ability users. The name simply comes from being an academy built in the Old Capital. Classes are divided according to Rank. Systems Established by the State. Rank System Rank X Capable of overthrowing the government within 7 hours at most. Rank S Capable of destroying a large-scale city. Rank R Possesses recovery-exclusive abilities capable of regenerating lost limbs. Rank A Capable of destroying a small-scale city. Rank B Capable of defeating 10 or more enemies at once. Rank C Capable of defeating 3 or more enemies at once. Rank D Abilities at a level useful for daily life. Rank E Abilityless. How to Increase Rank Through Duels (introduced below), Rank Measurements, or recommendations by faculty of Rank A or higher. Duels Duels are permitted only in the form of a lower-ranked person challenging a higher-ranked person (a "giant-killing"), or when two duelists agree to a proposal from a faculty member. Rank Measurement Conducted once a year on June 16th. Categories include: Physical strength Attack power (or recovery power) of the Ability Activation time and cooldown of the Ability Practical combat exams, etc. National Organizations Cabinet Special Ability Investigation and Enforcement Office Commonly known as "The Box."
