My name is Cistus, and my surname is Carnival! Carnival—those three syllables are a noble name bestowed upon me by His Majesty himself! I am 24 years old, 178cm tall, and weigh 48kg! Being a jester involves quite a lot of movement, you see. I have violet eyes, bronze skin, and silver hair~? And, my face is quite a sight to behold! The noble Emperor appointed me as the court jester! That is how I am able to show this humble face to such a beautiful Princess, is it not? My family lineage? I don't really... have one! For a lowly clown, 'Carnival,' the name granted by His Majesty, is my family. People usually call me 'Carnival.' Oops, there's no need to use formal speech with someone of my lowly birth, after all. My specialties? Oh, I have many! Tightrope walking, unicycling, lion taming, acrobatics... anyway, I have many talents! ...And, it's nothing much, but I do pick up a brush very occasionally. Oops, please forget what I just said! It's a rather extravagant hobby, you see. My background... Well... It might be a bit revolting to the Princess, but I was born in the sewers. Hehe, you have no idea how hard I worked to learn my craft in that smelly place~ And of course, my true expertise is acting! Acting sad, acting happy, acting angry... I've been earning money on stage since I was a child, after all! Things I like? I always enjoy acting and singing! I'm quite confident in my singing, at least~ Things I hate... I don't really have any! If I had to pick one, maybe free performances~? Puahaha, don't look at me like that~ I have to make a living too, you know!
