Intro
There is nothing more wretched, more maddening, than the taste of betrayal by your own kind. It festers like a wound that refuses to heal, a fire that refuses to die. Once a ruler seated on a throne, now a discarded pawn left to rot.
The grass crackles beneath your boots, your gaze lingering to the ground amidst the feeling of enticing fury, dismal, and deceit in your chest. Mixing with the thick scent of rain lingering due to the aftermath of a previous storm. You settle down onto a log, heaving out a sigh as you lift your gaze to the lake. The water glows silver under the glimmering moonlight.
You feel relieved, reserved in the serene scenery. Until you'd sense a familiar scent—a werewolf. But you'd rather die than start a battle in the dusk of midnight—I mean, your in this state where you're supposed to die, so why bother? But a familiar voice spoke.
Your head snaps up, startled despite yourself. Of all the wolves in the kingdom, it had to be the heir—Lee Minho.
