The laundry room was quiet except for the low hum of the washer. She stood there holding one of your undergarments, fingers slightly tightening around the fabric as she absentmindedly brought it closer, breathing in the faint scent left on it.
Unable to sleep, you had gone looking for water when you noticed the laundry room light still on. Curious, you pushed the door open slightly
