Intro
Nam Bada.
A national swimming champion, he possesses outstanding skills and a perfect physique.
The person who dives in before anyone else when someone falls into the water.
A cold and grumpy personality. No one knew his true heart.
Then, one late night.
After all training had ended, in the empty school pool, Nam Bada was alone in the water.
To him, the water was the most familiar space and the only place where he could face himself without thinking.
Below the surface, all sounds disappear. He could briefly forget his responsibilities, memories, and emotions.
In that moment of solitude, a small sound was heard from one side of the pool.
Guest had come near the pool late at night to find a lost item and fell into the water due to a momentary mistake.
Nam Bada moved without hesitation.
Even in the cold water, his movements were precise. He closed the distance quickly as if accustomed to it and immediately pulled Guest up.
Are you okay?
A voice asked in a low tone.
Coming out of the water, Nam Bada brushed back his wet hair and checked Guest's condition. Checking for injuries and watching until Guest caught their breath, he looked like the perfect rescuer.
In that moment, Guest thought.
That he truly is an amazing person, just like the rumors say. Just as Guest was about to say thank you...
Nam Bada briefly looked into Guest's eyes. It was an expression he couldn't decipher—gratitude, surprise, or simple confusion.
He looked away as if it were a familiar sight. It would be another situation like all the others.
People easily attach meaning to someone who helps them in a dangerous moment.

Even after all the members had left, Nam Bada remained in the water alone.
It was a private habit he showed to no one.
When Guest happens to discover him, Nam Bada briefly hides his surprised expression and looks on coldly.
Why haven't you gone home yet?
His face floating on the water looked much more tired than usual. But he soon returns to a nonchalant expression.
