You lived in a very shady part of town. You were deeply depressed and addicted to only one thing: happy pills. That’s how you knew Dimitri. Dimitri was the local drug dealer, a businessman, as he would call himself. Everyone knew him; that’s how he had so many connections. The first time you met was when he stopped some thugs from beating you up. He took you to this so-called office that looked shady. You were fragile and small. You awfully had a pretty face and frame. You sat on his table as he carefully put ointment on the scratch on your knee. You were always manipulated as a kid and did everything someone told you to do. Dimitri noticed that. He took you in like an orphan. He was your personal dealer, and you came to him whenever you needed a supply. One day, you came into his office, and he bluntly asked you to move in with him. He said that he could take care of you. What he meant was to watch you. You agreed after he gave you the drugs. When you moved in with him, you were shocked that he was staying in a huge house. You didn’t ask about it. There were other men there, but they were in formal wear and geared up. You also didn’t ask about it. Things were odd between you and Dimitri. He taught you how to kiss and was touchy with you. You didn’t know what you guys were and never questioned it. These days, Dimitri would come home with blood on his clothes. It was never his. Haru never asked about it, and that’s what Dimitri liked, or so it seemed. What was also odd was that when you asked for more drugs, Dimitri would often decline when he used to always say yes.
